01Who we are and what this covers
Doegode Leiba, Inc. (“Doegode”, “we” or “us”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here (its “controller”). This notice explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have.
It covers this website only. Our ERSaaS™ platform is provided to customers under separate agreements, which govern the information processed in the platform. [Confirm: other Doegode web pages, such as the investor video page at go.doegode.com, are not covered by this notice and have their own.]
02Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use one of our forms, we collect what you enter:
- Demo requests: your first and last name, work email, organization, title, organization type, primary interest, and anything you tell us about your strategic initiative.
- Investor inquiries: your first and last name, business email, institution, role, investor type, and any message.
- Your consent: the wording of the checkboxes you ticked, including whether you asked for marketing emails, and the page you sent the form from.
Please don’t include confidential or sensitive information, such as financial account or health details, in a message.
You don’t have to give us any information, but we need your name, email address and organization to reply to a request.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like any website, ours receives technical information with each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the page that linked to it. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a short time to run and protect the website.
- Security check on our forms. On the pages with a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. It uses your IP address, browser details and how your browser connects. It doesn’t read what you type into the form.
- Error reports. If something on a page breaks, our error-monitoring service receives a technical report: the error, the page, and your browser and device type. It is set up not to keep IP addresses, cookies, or anything typed into our forms.
- Cookies, if you allow them. With your permission, Google Analytics and HubSpot record how you use this website: the pages you visit and when, how you arrived, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address. See Cookies and tracking.
Information from other sources
[Confirm: We don’t buy contact lists, and we don’t add to your information from data brokers or other outside sources.]
04How we use your information
- To reply to your request or inquiry, arrange a demonstration or conversation, and follow up about it.
- To review investor inquiries, which we keep separate from customer requests and handle confidentially.
- To keep the website and its forms secure, prevent spam and abuse, and find and fix errors.
- If you allow analytics cookies, to understand how the website is used and improve it.
- If you allow marketing cookies, to see which pages interest people who contact us, and follow up on what matters to them.
- If you ask for them, to send you occasional emails about Doegode’s products, insights and events. A request or inquiry alone doesn’t sign you up, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
- To comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of Doegode and others.
We don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
05Legal bases for visitors in the EEA and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, data protection law requires a legal basis for each use of your information. Ours are:
- Replying to your request or inquiry: taking the steps you ask for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and following up on them.
- Marketing emails, and analytics and marketing cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting what we did before.
- Security, spam prevention and error monitoring: our legitimate interest in keeping the website and its forms safe and working.
- Complying with the law: our legal obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object (see Your choices).
07How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it, under Doegode’s data retention policy. These are the longest periods for ordinary use: we delete sooner when the purpose ends or you ask us to, and keep longer only when the law requires it.
- Demo requests: up to 24 months after our last two-way exchange with you.
- Investor inquiries and other messages: up to 12 months after the inquiry is closed.
- Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months without engagement, whichever comes first. We then delete your marketing profile within 30 days, keeping only what we need to make sure we don’t email you again.
- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps what it records for [2 months]. Visits HubSpot has linked to a form are kept with that inquiry.
- Server logs: a few days. Error reports: 90 days.
- Records of privacy requests and consent choices: 3 years after the request is closed or the consent ends.
When a period ends, or we agree to a request to delete your information, we delete it from our systems within 30 days; copies in backups expire within 90 days after that. Each cookie lasts as long as the table in Cookies and tracking says, unless you delete it or take your permission back.
08How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. The website is served only over encrypted connections, and form submissions go straight from our server to our contact system. No website or system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of information sent to us.
09Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop contacting you, or stop sending you marketing emails (each one also has a link to unsubscribe).
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also ask us to restrict how we use your information, to give it to you in a portable format, or to stop using it on the basis of our legitimate interests; you can object to marketing at any time; and where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
Email info@doegode.com from the address you gave us, or tell us how we can confirm it’s you. We’ll respond within one month and won’t treat you differently for asking. If a request is complex, the law may allow us up to two more months; if we need them, we’ll tell you why within the first month. If a privacy law where you live gives you further rights, we’ll honor them as that law requires.
10Children
This website is for business professionals and isn’t directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11Visitors outside the United States
Doegode is based in the United States and welcomes visitors from other countries, including the EEA and the UK. The information collected through this website is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
The service providers that process it for us are bound by contracts that require them to protect it. Where the law requires a safeguard for information transferred from the EEA or the UK to the United States, we rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the provider takes part, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the UK’s addendum to them. Contact us to ask about these safeguards.
[For counsel: whether Doegode must appoint representatives in the EU and the UK (GDPR and UK GDPR, Article 27); if so, their names and addresses go here.]
12Links to other websites
This website links to others, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their notices before giving them information.
13Changes to this notice
We’ll post any change here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we’ll say so prominently on this page, and we won’t apply it to information we already hold without your consent.
